CO2 DX Cascade System Installation, Start-up, Maintenance and Troubleshooting

This course presents content covering the Hillphoenix CO2 DX Cascade (SNLTX2) system installation, start-up, maintenance and troubleshooting. Participants become familiar with CO2 Cascade systems and how they operate. Control and operating strategies, along with specific concerns relating to installations and startups are explained. An overview of the technology describes the benefits that the CO2 Cascade system provides such as some of the lowest refrigerant charge obtainable for supermarket refrigeration systems, and how the system can improve customers’ sustainability and environmental friendliness.  

 

- The material presented in this module is at an advanced level. An understanding of basic refrigeration principles and Secondary Systems is necessary. Completion of Hillphoenix Learning Center Systems Modules Basic Refrigeration, Systems Basic Product Knowledge, Systems Secondary Product Information, and Refrigeration Legends and Design Considerations is helpful.

 

 

This course is primarily intended for participants such as Contractors and other individuals who install or are involved with the installation of CO2 Cascade systems; Dealers and others involved with sales and service of secondary systems; Contractors and others who are involved with the maintenance of secondary systems;  Employees from other divisions who need to know about the installation of low-temperature secondary systems.
