Introduction to CPC Einstein Controllers
Day One: Lessons from the training manual
- Introduction to the E2 CPC refrigeration controller
- Explain the different types of I/O boards, cover both what they do and how work.
- Transformers and powering the I/O
- 485 Com networking (including voltages)
- Introduction into software
Day Two: Introduction to Programing
- Student will be giving a programing sheet with a simple store set up. The class will follow the instructor at the instructors pace so that we insure everyone in class is on the same page (no working ahead).
- Student will wire up a small network and make sure all the programed board are communicating with the main E2 controller
- After wiring there network, they will use there multimeter to check not only AC board power, but the DC communication power generated by the I/O boards.
Day Three: Store Programing
- Students will start with a clear and empty controller, this will simulate a complete store controller failure.
- Each student will be giving a set of wiring diagrams and a legend and be ask to bring their store (there controller) up and operational. The instructor will review the program after the student completes the task.
- After everyone has completed programing the controller to the instructor satisfaction a written test will be given.
